This time I will tell you about my typical regional food.
Did you know where I came from? Certainly you don't know because I have not told you guys hehe
I am from Pemalang. A city located between Pekalongan City and Tegal City. Why do I have to explain it? Because most of you just know about Pekalongan or Tegal City. And I am so sad :')
And now you already know about where I come from, so now I want tell you about typical food of Pemalang, called "Grombyang Rice".
Grombyang rice is a kind of mixed rice which is a typical food from Pemalang society, Central Java. The name of this food comes from the form of presentation, which is between the content and soup more sauce so it looks rocking (Java: grombyang-grombyang, meaning "wobbling").
Rice grombyang served with a small bowl containing rice, sliced beef / buffalo meat, sprinkling of scallions sprinkled with broth sauce. equipped with buffalo satay or cow satay.
Almost grombyang is similar to rawon, grombyang broth sauce is also made from kluwek. But the difference is the texture of grombyang rice sauce that is not as raw as rawon.
The famous grombyang rice seller is H. Warso on Jl. R.E. Martadinata near the square, and H. Waridin at Sirandu near the old terminal of Pemalang.
Once time, I ever ate grombyang rice. At that time I was ate rice grombyang H. Waridin. And it feels so delicious.
So if you want or will visit Pemalang dont forget to tasted Grombyang Rice. I guaranteed not to be regrets.

Someday when I go to Pemalang, I will try this food. It seems recomended to be one of the culinary list in pemalang.
